il Cattivo HUN 1150 defended its championship title at the 2025 11 Meter One Design Open Hungarian Championship

The 2025 11 Meter One Design Open Hungarian Championship was organized by the Balatonfüred Yacht Club, once again featuring an international fleet. Alongside the Hungarian teams, two foreign boats — from Norway and Turkey — also joined the competition, bringing the total number of participating crews to eight.

Across six races held in varied weather conditions, the lighter wind days were followed by a final day of strong northerly winds exceeding 20 knots, providing both a true challenge and an exhilarating experience for all competitors. By the end of the series, il Cattivo HUN 1150, helmed by István Bali, delivered a confident performance to successfully defend its national title, thus claiming the 11 Meter One Design Hungarian Championship trophy for the fourth consecutive time. In the final race, the il Cattivo crew made a sportsmanlike decision not to start, allowing the teams battling for second and third place to decide the podium positions in a fair race.
