National Championship – 70 Class Cruiser Division

Balatonföldvár, September 11–14, 2025

The 2025 National Championship of the 70 Class Cruisers was held in Balatonföldvár, organized by the Spartacus Sailing Club. The event brought together the leading boats of the Hungarian fleet, forming a strong and sportsmanlike field.

Throughout the four days of racing, the organizers managed to complete several races in variable wind conditions. The changing strength and direction of the winds along the southern shore of Lake Balaton presented a serious tactical challenge for both helmsmen and crews — testing not only their boat-handling skills, but also their strategic thinking.

Thanks to the high-level organization of the Spartacus Sailing Club, the championship was conducted in a fair and safe manner under all circumstances. The shore events and the warm hospitality of the club also greatly contributed to the success of the regatta.
